We are a group of concerned citizens working to improve the quality of life in Macon and Bibb County. Democrats include people from all walks of life who are united in the belief that good government depends on the active involvement of all citizens. Fiscal responsibility, effective and responsible national defense, civil rights, environmental protection, quality public education, health care access, veterans' concerns and workers' rights are only a few of the issues that Democrats continue to champion. We have an excellent group of candidates for November's election. Our State's educational system (to mention just one example) has suffered from years of neglect under Republican rule and we now have a chance to set Georgia back on the right course, from the Governor's race down to our local school board and everywhere in between. Vote! We have a very impressive slate of candidates and Democrats are fired up about the November 2 election. This is a critical election and you NEED all the facts.
